OKINAWA SANSAN ~Artistic Culture and Peace Building

私たち人類は多様な文化・宗教・価値観を持っています。そこに優劣の差はなく、互いに文化や価値観を尊重し、理解し、共に生きることを体験することは平和で調和のとれた社会を築く基盤となります。人々が異なる背景を持ちながらも、お互いの文化や価値観の違いを知り、共に生きることの喜びを体験できる場をつくり、平和・共存・共生・文化芸術鑑賞を目的とした国際交流イベントを開催いたします。

We human beings have diverse cultures, religions, and values. There is no difference between superior and inferior, and respecting and understanding each other's cultures and values and experiencing life together is the foundation for building a peaceful and harmonious society. We will create a place where people can learn about the differences in cultures and values among people from different backgrounds and experience the joy of living together, and hold international exchange events for the purpose of peace, coexistence, living together, and appreciation of culture and art.

島々に伝わる沖縄芸能の奥深さ、多彩さを掘り出して創られ、舞台は沖縄の魅力に満ち溢れている。「エネルギッシュな踊り、バイオリン、三線、パーカッションの生演奏で観る人を幸せな気持ちにする、何度でも見たい」と注目の歌舞劇！！

精一杯生きる毎日の出来事を喜び、祝い、愛を歌う。

Experience the Enchantment of Okinawa: immerse yourself in the vibrant tapestry of traditional music and dance passed down from island to island. Feel the energy pulsating through lively dances set to the sweet strains of the violin, the rhythms of the Sanshin (Okinawa’s traditional string instrument) and the percussions. This performance promises an unforgettable journey that will leave you yearning for more. It is a celebration of life’s essence – the sheer joy of living and loving.

ワークショップでは、琉球舞踊や沖縄の芸能の歴史の説明、琉球舞踊の特徴であるコネリ手やヨネリを体験します。公演のエンディングでは出演者と参加者全員で踊り、生きていることをみなで祝い喜びます！

In the workshop, the history of Ryukyuan dance and Okinawan performing arts will be explained, and participants will experience the conerite and yoneri that are characteristic of Ryukyuan dance. At the end of the performance, all performers and participants will dance together to celebrate and rejoice that they are alive!

※Okinawa San San performances are non-verbal.

※Interpreters will be provided during the workshop.
